Welcome to My Tutor Time!
I'm Alexa, a University of Alberta Secondary Education Program alumni, certified teacher in both Alberta and British Columbia, Educational Consultant, and a Harvard-trained Instructional Leader. As a wife and mom, it's imperative to me that the tutors I hire are the best of the best. I approach hiring not only as an educator but also as a parent wanting the absolute best for every child entrusted to our care. For this reason, our tutors undergo a two-round interviewing process that is interactive and intentionally crafted to ensure they’re qualified to work with your child.
My dedication to nurturing young minds through a customized, strength-based approach drives everything our team does here.
As I began my teaching career, I quickly realized that the traditional classroom setting doesn't always provide one-on-one personalized learning for every student. Non-traditional learning environments, such as tutoring and homeschooling, offer more than just education—they ignite dreams.
My vision for My Tutor Time, and my promise to you, is that through individualized educational sessions, your child will be empowered to carry newfound skills and confidence forward in all they do.
